Live for today

Today they say is "the first day of the rest of our lives". since I have had many beginnings, I wonder how it will end for me.  Although I know I shouldn't, every once in a while I think about how I would have done things differently.I realize, since I will be 47 this year, I guess the life that I have made for myself is the life I chosen. I have no regrets, nor will I "reflect" on what could have been. There is always so much life to live, if we just give it a chance. Some lives are taken early, some cannot imagine a life that I have had. Whether good or bad, I appreciate everyone and everything that I have come across. I have lived a life of happiness and pain at times. My memoirs will be as such, I have loved and lived and now it is time to go on. But until that day comes, I will live the best life I possibly can.
